New Machine Investment: DN Solutions Puma DNT2600 & Puma GT3100L

Energy Bolting is continuing to invest in its in-house manufacturing capability with the addition of two new DN Solutions CNC lathes - the Puma DNT2600 and Puma GT3100L. Representing an investment in excess of £200,000, the two machines significantly increase both our machining capacity and the range of components we can manufacture efficiently in-house. The machines have been selected to complement our existing CNC equipment while providing additional capability for larger diameter, longer and heavier components.

Both machines are equipped with FANUC 0iTF Plus controls with Manual Guide i, providing a consistent and familiar platform for our machining team


DN Solutions Puma DNT2600


DN Solutions Puma DNT2600

The Puma DNT2600 provides a maximum turning diameter of 460mm, maximum turning length of 658mm and bar capacity of up to 81mm. It is also supplied with a Hydrafeed MSV80 servo short-magazine bar feeder, allowing efficient and repeatable production directly from bar stock.  

This makes it particularly well suited to repeat production work where productivity, consistency and reduced manual handling are important.



DN Solutions Puma GT3100L


DN SOLUTIONS PUMA GT3100L

The Puma GT3100L provides a substantial step up in size and heavy-duty machining capability.

It can accommodate components with a maximum turning diameter of 481mm and a maximum workpiece length of 1,275mm, with bar capacity up to 102mm. The machine can support shaft work weighing up to 1,000kg and provides maximum spindle torque of 1,613Nm.  

For Energy Bolting, this gives us additional flexibility when producing larger fasteners and engineered components that previously placed greater demands on our existing large-capacity machines

The GT3100L particularly strengthens our ability to machine larger diameter and longer components.

With its 1,275mm maximum workpiece length, 481mm turning diameter and high spindle torque, the machine provides additional heavy-duty machining capacity for demanding applications.

3. More Efficient Bar-Fed Production

The DNT2600's Hydrafeed bar feed allows suitable components to be produced continuously from bar stock with reduced operator intervention.

This improves machine utilisation and provides an efficient solution for repeat and higher-volume production.

4. Improved Lead Times

Increasing available machine hours means we can spread production across a larger machining fleet rather than relying on a small number of machines for particular component sizes.

For our customers, this ultimately means greater flexibility and improved ability to respond to urgent or short-lead-time requirements.

5. Greater Control In-House

Continuing to expand our internal machining capability allows us to retain greater control over production scheduling, quality and delivery.

For technically demanding components, maintaining control of the manufacturing process is an important part of delivering consistent and reliable products.

The DNT2600 and GT3100L follow the addition of our DN Solutions Puma 2100SY II in 2025 and form part of Energy Bolting's continued investment in modern CNC machining technology.
